Artificial intelligence - transparency regarding our use

At Volant, we embrace all new technologies and encourage our clients to do the same, this includes Artificial Intelligence (AI). While we believe that technology is a prime driver for progress, we also hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards at all times - as such, we want to be transparent about the way that we do and do not make use of AI as part of this website.

All content is human written

All content found on this website has been written, researched and assembled by a human. We never allow AI systems to create content from scratch, nor do we ever utilise a suggestion or idea from an AI model without manually checking any sources and references.

This being said, once a first draft is complete, we do use AI as a highly skilled writing partner and editor to review content, suggest errors or omissions and to improve the wording of key messages. We also use AI driven spelling and grammar checkers to help us avoid mistakes and present content in a way which will be as accessible as possible.

Most Images are AI Generated

All images used on our website are either free-to-use, or (more often than not) AI generated. We use AI image generation to create the images we need without the risk of copyright infringement. Unless otherwise stated, assume that images on this website are AI generated, and do not depict real individuals or places. All images are human-reviewed before being posted to the website.

All video is AI Generated

Unless otherwise stated, any video content posted on this site is AI generated. Where we link to external sites (eg. YouTube) we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the linked content is genuine, but readers are nonetheless advised to verify the source of the video themselves.

We do not carry out any data processing using AI

At present, none of the (very limited) data we collect about our website users is processed using AI. We never provide AI models with personally identifiable data.

This page will be updated if our stance on any of these issues changes.
